Fox Lake Propeller’s service department consists of a very precise and detailed staff. Every repair is accurate and finished with quality craftmanship. We are equipped with a large variety of pitch blocks for Mercury, Evinrude, Yamaha, OJ, Acme and more!
Fox Lake Propeller is a complete repair shop, from the beginning stages of dolling and welding to the finishing stages of balancing and polishing. Sandblasting is done to each aluminum propeller to ensure the new primer and paint will adhere. We are also able to replace damaged or spun hubs on stainless steel propellers.
If your propeller needs altercations, no problem! Our lead technician has the experience and talent to customize your propeller to perform at its best. He will take the time to get all the information needed to trouble shoot the issues you are having.
If your propeller is beyond repair or you are looking for a spare, we stock common aluminum propellers and can order if it is not in stock.
Skeg Repair
Lower unit skeg repairs are handled with the same quality of work. Skeg repairs are replaced with a new skeg part or built up with weld, depending on the damage. Once the welding is complete, it is sanded to a smooth surface and is ready for paint.
There are different options and pricing for painting the lower units. Please call for more details.
Another option is to repair the skeg on the boat. Our technicians are able to repair most skegs this way. This is usually a same day service. Please call for more details.
Pontoon Repair
Cracked welds and leaking pontoons are a common problem. Our technicians have over 20 years of experience repairing and pressure testing pontoons. They can replace end caps and install drain plugs if needed. With a steady hand our technicians are able to weld a pontoon with a clean, consistent, and durable repair. Please call for more details.
